This is the story of a small band of Australians, Canadians, and New Zealanders in 1951 who stopped Chinese soldiers from invading Seoul. They fought in close, often at the end of a bayonet. It marked the last major Chinese offensive of the Korean War. Sixty years later it is described in military academies as "the perfect defensive battle." Without its heroes, the Korean War may have ended differently.
