On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the Eiffel Tower, this film recounts the incredible epic of its construction. The tower emerged from the ground in record time at the end of the 19th century and was, at the time, the largest and the most ambitious building ever built by man. Thanks to spectacular images and an original 3D that retraces step by step the main stages of its construction, you will dive into the heart of the breathtaking history of the Eiffel Tower, from its construction to the present day. To celebrate this 130th anniversary, the Patrouille de France will exceptionally fly near the tower during the July 14 parade. We will have the unique privilege of accompanying one of these exceptional pilots during the final training session. Then we will meet historian Pascal Ory. He spent several decades understanding and deciphering the construction of this iconic tower. Two years ago, he embarked on an incredible project. With one of the greatest specialists in 3D animation, he recreates step by step the erection of Paris' Iron Lady in moving images. The story of its construction is anything but a long, quiet river. At the time, the detractors of its brilliant inventor, Gustave Eiffel, were numerous and powerful. But it doesn't matter; in just two years, what is certainly one of humankind's most beautiful creations was over, and its inauguration took place during the 1889 Universal Exhibition. We will bring this event back to life with 3D technology. Today, the Iron Lady continues to fascinate the whole world. Every year, nearly 8 million visitors flock to the tower to admire its architecture, spectacular panoramic views, and restaurants above the rooftops of Paris! The Jules Verne, a gourmet restaurant, has just opened again after a major renovation campaign. We will be with three-starred chef Frédéric Anton to discover this unique restaurant that he has just taken over. Every July 14th, the Eiffel Tower attracts all eyes for the fireworks display. The day before, we will have the grandiose privilege to follow Stéphane Roussin, in charge of the structure of the Eiffel Tower, during the installation of more than a ton of explosives, at night, on the edges of the tower. This 45-minute film will allow you to admire the beautiful Iron Lady in a way you have never seen before.
